Fun in the Sun

Yes, I know it has been awhile since my last blog post.  I guess I was waiting for something exciting to happen in our lives to write about, but nothing has so I'll just give you an update.  Ferrin still has a job which we are all greatful for.  I'm still home with the girls and I'm enjoying every minute of it, even though there are days I want to give my kids away.  Abbey will be done with school in two weeks I can't believe how fast it went.  She still says that she hates school but that is in the mornings when she has to wake up.  Once she's there she fine.  Amber and Ashley are home with me and are bored all the time.  They get tired of playing with each other and want to go to a friends house.  They eventually start playing with each other anyways.  Now that the weather is warmer we've gone a couple of trips to the beach which I love going to.  On Friday nights we meet up with some our friends and head over to a concert to hang out and listen.  We let the kids go wild and run around everywhere.  I've been working out at the gym trying to lose some pregancy weight off plus it's nice to feel active again.  In about a month the girls and I will be flying to AZ to visit family and friends and can't wait.  We are looking forward to the trip.  My poor husband will be left home alone with the dog.  Hopefully he will be busy with work to help the time go by faster for him.  Anyway, that is what we have been up too these days.

The girls having fun at the beach.

This is the concert we went to Friday night they
had the chick fil a cow there and the girls loved it.
They couldn't get enough hugs from the cow.

These are a couple of my friends and you can see
there are a lot of people who come.  Its free to go
which makes it nice.

Amber and Ashely sad to see the cow leave I
guess they wanted more hugs.

Busy, Busy, Busy

Yes, I know I am a terrible slacker and can't keep up on my blog.  I have to wait 3 months to just write in it.  There has been quit a bit going on in our lives.  I am coaching Amber and Ashley's soccer team it is really interesting and you have to have a lot of patience with 3 and 4 year old.  They lose interest real fast.  We had our first game March 14 which was a very cold day we had a cold front blow in.  I'm getting tired of the cold and just want it to be warm or hot.  Anyway, it was fun coaching them making sure they kick the ball into the right goal.  Basically just getting the kids to chase the ball and kick it.  It is very entertaining.  Abbey is playing soccer as well, she is getting better at it.  It's amazing to see how far she has come from the first time she played.  So, we have practices Thursdays and our Saturdays are busy going to games.  Ferrin and I also have callings, he teaching the 16 and 17 year old Sunday school class.  I teach every 3rd Sunday in Relief Society, which I enjoy doing.

We are all well and doing good.  I will try and be better at keeping my blog updated.  I sometimes feel that my life is boring and so I don't write so much, but I know that is just an excuse not to write.

This video is Amber & Ashley playing soccer.  As you can see Ashley is day dreaming at the beginning and Amber scores a goal.  Really cute to watch.

Snow Day

Who's says it never snow's in Wilmington NC. I am still in shock over this, but we just had a huge snow storm and it is still snowing. The girls absolutely loved it we went out to catch snowflakes in our mouth and throw snowballs. This is Amber and Ashley's first time seeing snow they loved it. This winter has been a very cold one. So, I took pictures to prove that it did snow here in Wilmington. Oh, and the schools closed before it even started to snow. I though Joseph City was bad I guess not.
